I noticed that you use vintage and antique cribs and bassinettes to display your items for sale. Are these safe for my baby to use?
NEVER! Consumer agencies such as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the National Safety Council (NSC) have provided guidelines that help determine if the crib you are using for your baby is safe.
Antique cribs usually have decorative cutouts, corner posts, and lead paints and therefore, are not safe. Listed below are some current safety guidelines which have been set by the federal government.

1. Make sure that your crib has been manufactured after 1986. You can usually find this information on the bottom of the crib.

2. The space between the slats must not be more than 2 3/8 inches (6cm).

3. The crib should not have corner posts which extend more than 1/8 inch (3mm) above the highest side.
